1. Employees, Remisiers, and Account Executives of OCBC Securities Private Limited (“OSPL”) and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

2. The Promotion is valid between 1 July 2014 to 31 December 2014 (both dates inclusive) or such other period as may be determined by OSPL as its absolute discretion (the “Promotion Period”).

3. The Promotion shall apply to Singapore Dollar (SGD), United States Dollar (USD) and Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) loan amounts.

4. To be eligible for this Promotion, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

(a)     the new Share Financing (“SF”) account applicant (the “Applicant”) is referred by an existing customer who maintains a single or joint SF account with OSPL (the “Referrer”), where the reference code “M14RAL" followed by Referrer’s OSPL SF account number must be indicated on the top right hand corner of the trading application form of the Applicant (the Referral Application”). Any other information, other than the Referrer’s OSPL SF account number indicated, will not be considered for the Promotion. Further, the Referrer’s SF account number should be provided at point of the application and indicated directly on the trading application form, and not subsequently.

(b)     the Applicant must not be an existing SF customer of OSPL prior to the commencement of the Promotion Period.

(c)     the new SF account must be successfully opened with OSPL between 1 July 2014 to 30 September 2014 (both dates inclusive).

(d)     the Applicant must maintain at least a minimum average daily loan balance of SGD 100k or equivalent on monthly basis.

 
Entitlements of the Successful Applicant

5. Subject to these terms and conditions, once the conditions set out in Clause 4 are fulfilled, the Applicant whose SF account is successfully opened (the “Successful Applicant”) shall enjoy interest rate of 2.88% (the “2.88% Interest”) on his/her SGD, USD and/or HKD loan granted by OSPL under such Applicant’s SF account within the Promotion Period. The 2.88% interest will be charged during the relevant month which the Applicant fulfills the terms and conditions. 

Entitlements of the Referrer

6. Subject to these terms and conditions, once the conditions set out in Clause 4 are fulfilled, the Referrer will enjoy a 2.88% interest charge via cash rebates (the “Rebate”) to offset the prevailing interest charge on

1. his/her SGD loan equivalent, or
2. the total average daily SGD equivalent loan balance of the referred Applicant(s) for that month, whichever is lower.
